We got a rep round today trying to get us to sign up to Living Social, we only heard her out to find out what was what with it.
Anyone else been contacted by them?

A mate of mine used them in may for her domestic cleaning company...she got over 400 customers, i talked to her yesterday and she wishes she never bothered! She said she looses money on every clean. The good thing is they take 40% and groupon take 50% and you get paid up front with living social

 hi
just done it for window cleaning services. wouldnt work for carpets as well i dont think.

its slightly better than group on, you can cap your sales of vouchers so you wont be over run. i sold 110 vouchers.

you also get paid a week or so after the promotion, anyone doesnt redeem there voucher you get to keep your bit anyway.

all in all i think with wages /admin time we have took a small loss but we have signed up 20 or so new customers and still counting. we have also upsold soffits fascias and carpets to them .

we are now the first point of contact for cleaning services for all these customers.

cons a few moaners who wanted us to go round the windows with a toothbrush inch by inch. some one off merchants just grabbing the deal.

all in all bin ok. with carpets you dont get the immediate repeat customers you do with windows. so i think its more difficult.

cheers
