Priced a new job today - £10 is that all said customer
« on: September 12, 2011, 08:23:50 pm »
Referall from a current customer so went to take a look this morning

my minimum these days is £12 and this house is a £12 for all the glass but she only wanted basically upstairs doing as big extension on rear so talking 6 windows so thought quote a tenner ..... 10 min job and close to a few on same street that I do ..... customer surprised and said thought it would be about £20  :o :o :o

so thinking quickly said well for £14 I will do all the windows  - happy customer.

Moral of story is think of a price and then stick a bit more on .... they can only say no.

Seriously looking at putting my minimum up again to £14

true

The customer said "oh I was expecting £20" this was just the tops so my thought is if you said I'd do the whole house for that she would of agreed to the price if she was expecting that price for tops only.

I hoped you drumed in its a regular price sometimes they say oh is that all cos they dont understand you will be back and back and back again :)

i had a 2nd clean today these cases are rare , she was told when canvassed 8 weekly price, over the phone 8 weekly text 8 weekly cleaned paid (lucky i now charge more for the 1st clean) brilliant it goes down to x next time as you are now a regular customer i say, so today 8 weeks later guess what she said , "oh i didnt think it was regular" lol. :)
