Terry what van do you drive? See your three section ladders how high do the go and how much do they cost. I want a ladder that goes high enough to reach gutters but I don't want to put a roof rack on my van.

The van is a volkswagen transporter T4 (old shape) 2.5tdi - great workhorse, The ladders inside the van are only about 18 foot, not high enough to reach gutters but very handy for getting over gates and onto flat roofs. If you want to clean gutters off ladders (which I do as well) then you will need a roof rack, a decent set of trade ladders - http://www.ladders-999.co.uk/

Thats what we done. All change though, just been pulled out over the weekend and all going in/on a new tranny van. Post up the new pics in the week, sorting it tomorrow whilst the gales are on !!!
