Big job completed
« on: September 13, 2011, 04:36:55 pm »
This was my biggest booking to date, for the local authority.
Over 4 thousand square feet,I stopped measuring at 4,and said we are in day rate territory  ;D
Took me and a mate of mine 16 hours over 2 days, not been cleaned professionally in over 10 years,so it was quite a task with my little portable, achieved great results ,using powerburst,a Sebo duo,and my 17 inch Victor buffer.
My body also held out, shoulders and toes ache quite a bit,as I rock backwards and forwards when I am wanding quickly.and my trigger hand is a bit numb now,
Other than that all good !!

Well done Mark, you will look back now at other 'big' jobs you've done in the past and chuckle to yourself. As you will this one in the future no doubt.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

I hope yes !! There is also plenty more carpet there,so will hopefully get some more work, now my foot is in the door.
Machine held up really well, did have one quite scary moment, when I moved it,and pulled all the wires out of the heater, had to call Prochem,to find out how to wire it back up,other than that all good

Nice one mark.

Those jobs are a great confidence booster too and a great carpet to get your buffer into  ;D

First time on carpet with the buffer, did not get hardly any transfer after I went over a few areas, but it did improve the finish

Mark

Don't suppose you tried padding any areas just to see how they compared?

Hi mark

Looks good, I tend to clean these LM and get very good results and a money!

Did you try buffing the prespary and then extarcting, I would imagine that is going to lots more effective than a Sebo Duo.

Cheers

Doug

We pre sprayed, agitated, then I extracted, then went over it with the buffer, but didn't get much transfer.
During ,but before buffing pics
