Hi Guys,

Just took a call from Nationawide WC asking for a quote to do a Bank local to me. Insides/outsides/signage once a month and everything above ground floor once a year. Ive never dealt with any of the nationals but lady said theres another branch close by that they want done aswell, so could be a good earner, so basically what they like to work for?

I worked for them for quite some time where have they asked you to quote, they are genuine

Hi John,

They have asked me to quote for RBS branch in Portree, Isle of Skye. Its literally 150 yds from my house. Has about 8 large windows on ground floor which they want done inside and out monthly. Also want 2 small signs done aswell. Prob only 45mins work including moving posters/displays from inside windows.

I know they do the national portfolio for RBS and Natwest they tend to sub out for hard to reach areas such as yours, go in with a good price because they know they have to pay it to someone.

The company is huge over 100 window cleaners nationwide ( dont mention my name though ) I worked for them for over 8 years so know 99% in and out.

The spec they have given you is correct also.

Spoke to Cherie Hampson (spelling might be wrong). she seemed clued up and asked if there was any other branches in my area i could possibly do as there nearest guys are 120 miles away in Inverness. Do NWC do Bank of Scotland (now lloyds)  Co-op or Boots? as they are the only other High street retailers in Portree.

A window cleaner came ito our shop last week, he said he subs of them and that they pay what ever price he quotes, and they pay within 30 days of invoice.

Ah Sherie, she is RBS Natwest dedicated she knows quite a lot, nice lady.

Nationwide clean windows to retail and commercial buildings and are always gaining contracts so it could work well for you. They have had the RBS/Natwest portfolio for quite some time and have good relations.


Nationwide also complete ASDA, Morrisons, Yorkshire Banks and Job Ctrs which could be in your area you might want to ask Sheree if there is anything else you can do for them.
