I got fed up a few years ago and went off to try new things, some worked some didnt but it did make me realise that "the windows" are a decent way to make a living.
Freedom of hours, fresh air, own boss etc.....
Good luck whatever you choose!!!!!!!

cheers for that i did pack up a few years ago myself when i moved away i got a job and enjoyed being employed no hassle switch off payed hols etc i moved back to cornwall and as my windy mate was struggling i rented a load from him (not much work here) i enjoyed it at first but i just hate it now i dont even know why ive just had enough by 11 or 12 oclock plus competition is fierce round here at the mo newbies everywere under cutting by 50% i just cant be botherd with it tbh £112 to fill my tank i not doing people for £5 when its a £10 or £12 house any way moan over i will see how it gos maybe i will regret it i havnt got the job yet if i dont get it i will carry on i wont just go for any job this one is right up my allie thanks again john. ;D

If the weather in Cornwall depressed you in December you should have been up here in Northumberland!!!

I had 6 window cleaners on full pay with nothing to do for basically 5 weeks  :'(

I get depressed just thinking back on it  :-\

There are better jobs out there than window cleaning, just not many that give you the freedom of being your own boss, set yourself some goals, target new areas, make sure you look professional and the work will start coming in, no better feeling than getting a few new customers.
