You won't save any water unless you have a lesser flow at the brush head. You will though use more battery power, create more pressure & have to run your pump faster!

why would you want to save water?

if you leave in the morning with a full tank and come home with any water then surely thats not a good way to work.

I have found since changing from a vikan brush and jets to a gardiners brush and jets (slightly smaller diameter) I am now working faster and using less water. I haven't altered the flow rate on the controller but the water flies out of the smaller jets speeding up rinsing.

so sorry, I was only making a point of emphasising that if you can carry it, you should use it.

clearly if you can't mke more water/store more water then you want to save water.  In that case I can't help you, but you could try smaller jets I suppose.

Are you using any water control device method at the moment?

Most people using Fan jets I've heard say they save water, I have heard one person say they think they use more.

What kind of setup are you running?  Van mount?  Tank Size?

ye the problem i have is basically water shortage , not so much the tank but my source.i depend on 3rd party's to supply water cos i live in a flat so i could use 2 3rds of water one day next day i use the 3rd but unable to collect new water during my lunch break (doesn't happen often) but when it does its annoying) so meanwhile
i am trying to figure out ways to save maybe 20% or so little things even like adaptors.

i may in luck to rent out someones garage space with water and electronic for £50 a month i think thats a decent deal? but again im relaying on someone els to stick to the deal ..

i do however have a shed but its seperate from my flat (those small sheds) they are in a row and at least 40 foot away from my flat im on the 3rd floor can i get power and water in there this would be the ideal situation but i wont be aloud to pipe 40 foot .

i got about 400ltrs van mount tail snap adaptors,no water saving products at the moment someone once recommended an adaptor im gona have to look into it.

what about an ro unit in the van with a level switch and solenoid - or if you are in a soft water area , two di vessels?  would probably be more beneficial than saving water and slowing you down.

OK, if you're not using anything at the moment, then any method (tap, trigger etc.) will help.  I (obviously) think ours is the best.  Some people report 20%-30% water saving.

Depends on what benefit it's going to get you.  If the only reason you're considering it is because of running out of water, then any water control method will be cheaper to try.

You can try the Aqua-dapter and send it back within the first month for a full refund if you don't like it.
