I ring or text. If there is no access then i do fronts only and charge two thirds the price generally and leave a note to say sorry i couldn't do your backs it was locked. You've done your bit of the bargain by notifying them. Most i find are apologetic. Initially i was sceptical of the ringing or texting before hand incase i got the 'leave it this time' brigade, but you're better off finding them out quickly and either explaining to them how you operate a regular service or leave them out permanently and move on. I notice some guys advocating not to ring or text, thats fine if they want a window cleaning round ,if you wanna run a business you gotta move with the times !!!
