A while ago I brought the extreme brush and I slated it on this forum saying it was like window cleaning with a toothbrush. However I have recently brought one again and using it with my slx and carbon goosneck is out of this world. No more aching shoulder and its so much quicker and better at cleaning . I seriously think this is the BARCELONA of brushes. Really recommend it

I personally much prefer the white extreme brush,.. the black one got used for a day & then I switched back.

do they come flocked or with the stiff bristles ... I prefer to be flocked any day

They are both mono filament but the black bristles are alot softer and feels like a flocked brush.

I gave my Extreme pole its first proper run out today.
Pole - no problem.  Brush - no problem.  Angle of gooseneck - problem.  I can't see me using that carbon gooseneck on many jobs.  I found that it's necessary to stand too far back in order to be able to brush along the sills.  Assuming there is room to stand back, this may be fine with the shorter Extreme poles, but not so great with much longer ones.  I think it will be back to angle adaptors for me.  The carbon gooseneck will be OK on certain types of job that I have but I don't think it's particularly suitable for sills when you can't step back - even more so if the windows are deeply recessed.
Love the kit apart from that and, in fairness, the right angle for one window is often the wrong one for another.

Been using it as a 30ft pole today for all my work, it makes my 25ft slx feel like an old extel!!

I have already taken steps to adjust to using an angle adaptor and am awaiting the piece that I can clamp into the pole end.  I'm told that it's only the same bit that fits into the end of poles anyway - but I'm not pulling another pole apart to get one out.

I splashed out on a 48 footer Extreme plus three standard extension pieces.  I've bought cars for less  .
I will only be using it on higher jobs that are out of reach for my SLX as I want the Extreme to last a very long time.  At the moment I only have a few jobs for the Extreme but there are other possibilities in the pipeline.  It's funny how whenever I go through this inner debate of whether or not to invest in my toolkit, once I have done it, the work for it seems to come in without me looking too hard.  So I can now clean windows up to 66 feet high (reach length) without the assistance of a second operator.  Any higher than that and I think I would rather leave it to someone else anyway.

Oh - I don't use the carbon goose neck - just the standard adjustable plastic jobbie.
