Rotovac 360i
« on: May 29, 2011, 06:19:01 pm »
Hallo folks,
Can anybody please tell me the difference/and or advantage of the Rotovac on E bay at the moment with the straight slot head, as opposed to the model sold at Solutions with the "swoop glide style heads".

Is one model an improvment on the other?

Thanks for your informative replys,
regards

Daren

Dont know the reason for the swoop glide style heads nor know the advantage or otherwise. Why not ring Solutions???
Important thing is to get a 360i as opposed to the earlier 360 model. A few problems with the earlier model updated in the 360i.

Barry,
An RX20 makes 11.5 cleaning passes per second and cleans the carpet from every angle and this makes for the most thorough clean imaginable, that is why they are way better than a wand, espewcially on large commercial, or very dirty jobs. I've tried the Rotovac when it first came out and didn't think it was in the same class as the RX, but they may have improved it since then.

a lot of people don't like these types of cleaner as it does involve a power cable as well as sol and vac hoses to get in the way while you are cleaning hence the majors advice about using on larger or minging jobs. however if you persevere with them they are really worth it, i think they are a lot less tiring than a wand and you cover a larger area per hour, with 2 of us working, one spraying the other using the rx we clean around 100sq mtrs plus an hour and that is dirty carpets not maintenance clean carpets,

The trick with these machines is to work IN to a room, not out of it, that way the hoses and cable are behind you at all times. ;)

is this suitable for woolen carpets where it states that rotary machines are not suitable and why on some of the  youtube videos are people still wanding straight after using the rotovac.

doesnt that defeat the whole purpose of having the rotovac 360i because isnt it marketed as a replacment for a wand and not more of an agitation tool.
