I HAVE RECENTLY BOUGHT A 30 FOOT ELITE POLE AND HAVE NOTHING BUT TROUBLE WITH IT,FIRST OF ALL THE INNER CONE THREAD CAME OUT WHEN I TOOK IT FROM THE TUBE AND TODAY AFTER A FEW WEEKS OF LIGHT USE THE BOTTOM SECTION SNAPPED ALONG WITH THE CLAMP,IT WAS ONLY HALF WAY EXTENED IN THE POLE SO NO EXCUSE,NOT HAPPY AND FOR £300.00 PLUS IS NOT EXCEPTABLE.
I AM DEEPLY DISGUSTED I PAID OVER £300.00 FOR THIS POLE THINKING THE CLAMPS AND POLE ITSELF WOULD LIVE UP TO THE WEBSITE  DISCRIPTION.
NOT HAPPY AT ALL  

THE WATER FED POLE CO. CAN HAVE THEIR CRAP POLE BACK AND  REFUND ME MY HARD EARNED £300.00

To be fair i smashed a few sl2 sections when i first got one. I never thought that pole was up to the job until i really got used to working with it.

They are closed as I did try and left a message,however when I first got it I posted on here about the inner cone piece coming out and the crappy butt caps,they rang me the next day and I discussed the fault,the lady said it probobly got knocked about in transit and that they would send me out a replacment cone of some sort and some butt caps as they too were like something you would get in a christmas cracker,still nothing in the post after nearly two weeks.
I would expect these faults on a cheap Extender pole for £80.00 quid but this takes the p1ss

Wow that's surprising for the bottom section to go, they are normally the strongest, might have expected the top one to go. Maybe it was a one off.

I'm not defending the makers but i think it would have been fairer to contact them and get either
a replacement/ refund or (hopefully not) a tough luck mate.  before jumping on the forums..

it may simply be a case that that section  had a flaw in the c/f -  sometimes we all expect everything to be perfect,
last forever and cost next to nothing !

just occasionally mistakes happen and things go wrong.

This does surprise me very much. These poles have been tested for a long time and have never had any issues like this. Anybody that has seen the clamps and the quality of the pole will tell you how strong they are, but when I receive the section back I can gain a better understanding to why it happened.

It is easy to take sections off this pole. It is important that when these sections are taken off they are kept safe so that single tubes are not damaged.

The reason you could not contact us is we only have one person in the office on Saturday mornings and they were busy at the time of your phone call. We do respond to any messages as soon as we can.

That said, I have now spoken to slash and have offered a full refund or send out a new section. He has taken the offer of a new section as he enjoys using the pole.

Yes,I have spoken to Adam and all is fine,as for jumping on the forum and giving it loads I apoligise but it's been one of those mornings but I will take back what I said about their poles,they are very good and I do enjoy useing it but like I say it's been a tough morning and if the pole did'nt break someone else would have got an earfull,so anyway all is resolved and am sorry to affend Adam and co.

nice to see things sorted out i find it a great pole with no complaints what so ever nearly 3 wks now and loving it ,   my wife is fed up of me talking about my pole though
