48 extreme
« on: May 09, 2011, 07:24:42 pm »
my 48 extreme was delivered today.

my first impression is that the pole is certainaly light.

i havent mastered the clamps ,and the pole ends  about 4 inchres ,are slightly  thicker .which when opened does not quite clamp the pole .there must be a method to this that i havent worked out yet .

but other than that seems fine.
lets hope it lasts a while.

Hi Eddie

I will give you a call in a bit and email you a copy of the operation manual which was not ready when your pole (first in the UK) was sent out. Once you know how it works it is very simple to use.

 sure colin .
i will be using it tommorow at about 40 foot so will take some pics and let you kno how it feels .

i paid 1210 +vat  ,so quite dear.but while the price is an issue ,if the pole is that much easier to use ,then i think the price is worth it .after all it is tax deductable anyway . ;)
