Wow just heard a guy in my town(swindon) has clocked up 39 points on his licence and is still driving about  what the xxxx is that all about.Regards Alan(swindon)

It was on bbc points west  and there are loads of people with more than 12 points still driving legally not in Swindon i might add

Could be stopped speeding ,and have 4 bald tyres and no insurance thats 21 points minimum right there!

My ex window cleaner drives with no license and no insurance with no Mot or tax he gets caught so often that he does a stretch and comes out and does the same again.

I suppose if you have that many whats the point (excuse) of stopping this is where the law starts to lose any effect or deterent as punitive charges makes it unworkable and of course is then ignored by the thousands of banned and so uninsured drivers out there.

As you would know if you have had the misfortune of having one run in to you.

They've had speed awareness courses
for about 8 years now round here.
I went on one of the first few.
It cost £60 but you get no points but
can't go on another for I think it's 3
years so if you get caught speeding
again in that 3 years you get points.
Went on my 2nd one last year and it's
much better because they've cut it down
to half a day.

I drive drunk with no licence, no tax, no insurance and no mot. All four tyres are bald. In the boot are 7 hand guns and several large packs of class a drugs.
The number plates are false and do not match the V5 doc, It was stolen about 3 months ago.
I use the car at a weekend as a taxi. I can carry more people by letting them ride in the boot and footwells.
