Hi, can someone give me advice on the following please. Cleaning a new build hospital with these washable strange carpets. Very thin. One of my cleaners tipped their bucket of water over and its left a big water mark stain. It wasnt dirty water and its dried out a lot. I asked them to wash with clean water the ring around it and soft brush it into the middle. Its a huge room and I dont want to end up having to do the whole room. Any tips?

What sort of carpet is it. Strange isn't quite enough info : What is it made of. what type of construction. Going to be very hard to give you anything useful until you can answer these. The remedy, if possible could be very different depending on these factors.

It sounds silly but carpets do talk to you but have to know how to listen. The construction and fibre types will tell you how the cleaning should be done. This is true of every type of carpet out there. Can I suggest training.

Training is a must if you are going to tackle carpets. But for now if you can get some info on this particular carpet I am sure someone here can help.

Its a very thin sort of felt type, a bit like flotex that you get in kitchens.

I sub carpets out but this is a 2 metre square.

The water mark is a dust line. The water has pushed the dust from underneath probably. I would try bonnet cleaning I removed a similar large stain on some contract carpeting in an office.
