Depends how grubby it is & hard it will be to clean. Estimate how long it will take & charge accordingly, which should be more than you charge for window cleaning IMO.

The bigger the difference you can make to the conservatory the more you should charge. If it's proper green & you know you can get it like new again, they'll be happy with the premium! ;)

Guessing this is your first one and you havent done any before.

Price wise depends on your area really. I see your a southener... so things are generally more expensive than up north.

Do you know what you aim to achive for your hourly rate cleaning windows ?

Like Wimproclean says, you want to aim a little more than that.

Access is an issue aswell as how dirty it is. Also what tools do you have to do the job ?

Mark,

Try pricing it at £5 per panel and £10 per difficult access panel, providing its a pretty standard roof construction with a good roof pitch for water to run off.

Once you've done a few you'll be able to tweek your pricing accordingly.

It's not for me to tell you how much Mark.

Because it's your first one then you'll have to use it as a learning curve. I understand it's hard for you to estimate the time it will take so I would allow for a bit of breathing space.

Personally, I like to use a detergent, I use none caustic TFR but there's probably a multitude of products available that would be just as good. On the roof I spray it on first with a pump up garden sprayer, then wfp as normal. You don't have to use it but personally I find it makes the job much easier on heavy soiling.

One tip- BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THE FINNIALS!!! (the fancy bit along the peak of the roof apex) They are easily knocked off!

Good luck ;)

There's good money to be made with conservatories. ;)

Now i've done a few connys in my time and learnt alot.

Heres a list of what i use....

wfp
sill brush
5L garden sprayer
Viro-sol (like tfr)
step ladders (if i need height / to apply chemical)

The link below will take you to a slideshow of pictures from a job i did the other week. The roof, finals, external gutters & windows took 2hrs to clean (remember i've done this many times)

The inside of the gutters took 35mins to clean. I used the custys hosepipe and a brush from a dustpan & brush set.... charged an hours labour just for the insides of the gutters and got soaked whilst doing it.
