wfp gutter, fascia & soffits ...
« on: April 05, 2011, 03:39:31 pm »
i have also done this via both methods (ladder or wfp)

never really had a problem ...

but i have one coming up - no probs with the gutter & fascia via wfp.

but

im looking for some tips on doing the soffits please?

i find doing them wfp a pain as its the under side and i get wet .... main problem on this job is the under side is really really bad! right by a busy main road and the traffic dust has really got stuck on the soffits!

i always worry about the water getting in & dis lodging the soffit boards...

any tips would be great

cheers

I use an Unger green fixi clamp. Put two Lidl sponges into it and use a telescopic pole (obviously) to break down the gunk. Use your tfr on there too. do it in sections say a metre at a time. (so it wont dry back on.)
Next use your WFP but without the brush so as your getting more psi if ya like on the spot. Use tape around the tip of the pole to steady the outlet from wobbling around and to give you more control.
