if usingladders  use heavy duty roofingladders,   you risk your life  or worse could cripple yourself every time  you climb a ladder  especially roof height. i use a eastern trading vac  i use customers electric no complaints.   you get this work all year round   not just winter months.  they all do same job with 3000 watts.  just make   parts to fi.  i am selling mine through a job change, £550    wales possibly too far away.  i bought mine to save me from falling from roof height,  easily done when streching to get that little bit extra.   they will pay for themselves,   upto £50  half hours work

Nick, the question was asked - in my opinion 1400 vac would not be suitable if you wanted serious gutter clearing
power, backed up by your very own web site where you are forced to hook out weeds instead of sucking them out.
- this means you would be at the job twice as long as you will then have to use the gutter vac to clear out the
remains of the soil etc..

I'm sure for very light work it does a fine job, but sometimes you need the extra 'grunt' otherwise you will have
to use a ladder, and that defeats the object of having a gutter vac.

Just some obseravations and experiences from nearly 2 years of gutter clearing and not an attack on your stuff.
