Its often done with the excellent Harris pole by using a cut out piece of pop bottle plastic.

i am in the market for a new pole just now. i need something bigger than my 17ft extel which has been a great little pole. whenever i need to reach over conservatory's i have to get bigge rpole from van. So what size ye reckon 22ft upwards? also dont want a large closed length on the pole. This is what puts me off brodex poles

what else is out there at present ? It seems those poles are out of stock. Do they still have the issues with clamps and wearing out?
