For those who use george/wcp

im trying to move over from sae payments etc and have invested in the cardsave mobile terminal and would like customers to begin to use bacs as well, too save time in your working day to clean more windows what do you think of sending invoices each nite thru the post using the invoices you can raise on wcp for domestics as i find it really slows ya down writing notes and knocks you off your pace, these invoices would have all payment options on etc i know it may be an extra expense i.e stamps and envelopes but i feel proper invoices may push the customer to feel more obliged to pay up as i currently write a note on a compliment slip

i have invoices and SAE s already printed up for the next days work whether its commercial or the odd larger domestic account.

i have calling cards for my ultra compact run of the mill work with the date filled in again the night before the next days work.

the compact stuff is still on collection(easy when its 150 houses on 2 estates!).

this cuts down on time wasted filling things out in the working day.

also have a few who pay by BACS.i have a pile of small letters in the van with bank details on ready for any customer who wants to pay that way. ;) ;D

simple!being prepared is the key!! ;D ;D

better get off to work.the frost has started to thaw now!

I use George, and when I clean put a slip through there door so they know I have cleaned and then email invoice. This has the different payment options.

I have used sae for years but are finding people pay quicker by bank transfer, I think with envelopes they put them to one side and forget them. but with email they check regularly and its there on screen and reminds them.

yes what im finding is on wcp you have to input work you have done at end of day to raise the invoice for work done that day you cant raise it unless you write on the invoice yourself which takes a lot of time for 20 invoices so im going to begin sending on 2nd class stamps at the end of the day and if customers want to send a cheque they pay for postage themselves from now on or choose new method of payment
