Nearly Killed Their Dog
« on: March 02, 2011, 10:02:52 pm »
I have been cleaning these customers windows about 5 years and recently they moved to a new bungalow on a busy road, they have a great little spaniel called chaz who ive always liked as i have a springer myself, anyway cleaned their windows end of last week while they were out, i could see Chaz in the house but didnt think anything of it, did the job, closed the gate and left a note, job done. Went back today for money and the husband says " you nearly got our dog killed", so theirs me thinking what have i done? he was in the house! apparently i didnt latch the gate shut properly and i didnt know they had fitted a dog flap so after i left he came out and got through the gate, they found him running up the busy road!! luckily he is ok but i would never have forgiven myself if id got him hurt.

Anyone else injured their customers pets? i seem to remember someone (GAZ?) being accused of poisining their fish pond with the "pure water."
Im not scared of heights, just falling from them.

Surely if the dog knew you, the dog would of came out the dog flap to see you. Maybe you did shut the gate properly, then someone else tried to get in the garden and opened it..
