All cash payments go through the books.  But we don't bank any cash.  Don't get that much these days, and all banking is done by post so no cash goes in the bank.  Simples

The amount of cash I get is a lot less these days as a percentage of take.  Although it often doesn't reach the bank, it does go through the books.  If the bank account is running tight, it's often safer to get a £10 or £20 out and add a little diesel with it in case I accidentally hit overdraft.
