as i say been out with the pen and pad now targeted 20 customers 5 was polite got a bloke doin it 6 wa out left a leaflet and the rest was down right rude and bordering nasty i know its sunday but i have to earn a living mates how do you fare with your canvassing then

I had a cold call at 7.30am other day asking about my mobile phone contract...im not a rude person, but i was at that time!

Thats very early sensai, I dont start calling until at least 10 am.  Let people get in, get their tea/coffee, go through emails etc.

i was asked to go down tipton but said no. if you do get any new custys down there make sure you lock ya motor up because i used to work down princess end for 8 years.

I have always found people very chilled on a Sunday and usually get a good hit rate - Saturdays tends to
be worse, but hardly ever rude...

It's gotta be a bit hit and miss canvassing on Sundays, but I got a telephone canvassing call today and I wasn't too polite so would probably be the same if someone knocked my door.
I'm registered with the TPS but still manage to get unwanted sales calls.
