George users!!!!!!

EVERYONE Back up everyday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just got my lap top back after its had a new hard drive fitted.
I just got too laid back and last backed up to a flash drive on the 4th of Jan.
Having a nightmare now organising my jobs.
Backing up everyday now!!! lesson learnt!

I use pocket George so every time I hotsink my PDA I back up George to my hard drive and a memory stick. ;)
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.

Get a 'Dropbox' account (its free!) and use this as your backup directory, simples!!!

internet back up with george is only £12 a year then if your computer crashes just send paul an email and you ll be up and running the next day!simple!! ;) ;D ;D



do it now if you have nt already.remember the bloke from stockport(ronnie i think) who had his computer stolen with all his customer details etc with no back up!!i bet it was a nightmare sorting things out.

You can never have enough backups is the rule  ;)  The most important man in IT is the one that can get it all back working when it goes tits up  ;D

I was going to write my own version of George as I have a background in IT myself, I downloaded a copy for a quick look and it seems like a good piece of software.  I think it's an old Access database by the look of it but there's nothing wrong with that as far as I can see.

As with most things, when someone writes something for their own use it's normally better and George seems to have been done by someone that knows his stuff.
