What if you become ill, or maybe injure yourself doing your weekend hobby. What plans do you have in place?

I would be stuffed if it happens to me  ::)

have thought about this before, as my hobbies include a lot of board sports and mtn biking. There are insurances you can take out that would protect you against loss of income but I dont have any in place yet.
I too would like to know what others would suggest.

Hi mate. Alexander Swan have just quoted me £19 a month over 10 months a year for £600 a week benefit-payable for 2 years if you do yourself a nasty.

Have a word with Clare-really helful.

  As soon as you tell them about any extreme sports they hike the premium right up.

 They wanted £97 a month to cover me for 75% of my earnings, that didn't pay out for the first 6 weeks either.

  If you ride motocross, do not tell them!

thats more what I suspected   >:(  e.g. so I'm off for 5 weeks with a busted wrist and throwing away nearly £100 a month   :o
