Smoke damaged leather
«
on:
February 21, 2011, 04:12:04 pm »
Had an enquiry for some chairs from a smoke damaged hair salon.
Not seen them but he described them as leather with chrome bases.
Is it a case of clean as normal leather or more specialist?
Thanks
Paul

Thanks Dave.
He didn't say they were damaged, was just trying to find out if normal cleaning (FC Ultra clean) is enough to remove any stains/odour, if any, or if more was needed.

Don't forget the odour will have
penetrated the foam padding.
It may not be possible to easily remove
the odour.

You might need an ozone generator to eliminate the odour..............check the " leather " carefully as they might be bicast which wont take kindly to UC, but can still be cleaned with a mild cleaner
