Dry Fusion
« on: February 20, 2011, 04:37:00 pm »
Just spent a good 5 hours cleaning office carpets with a dry fusion machine and I was impressed. I bought the machine as a backup to my truckmount and today was my first use of it. The dirt seemed to go but at the same the pads did not look that dirty yet the carpets looked clean. Could it be magic?

Hi Julian, did you use DF chemicals or something else?

Regards

Welcome to the dark side ;D ;D
To be fair LM cleaning can be better than most people give it credit for, and is not necessarily muck spreading. What chems did you use?

I just bought a heavy 40kg, 15" rotery from ebay. Needs a paint job but only paying £50 for it  ;D pitty the delevery is £57!! on a pallet.

Mainly buying it for pre HWE agitation and post HWE bonneting. And also to get a feel for LM cleaning.

for 18 years I was a prochem detergent and hot as you like in the tank hwe cleaner.
then Amtech advertised microsplitter on ebay and I bought some, took ages to get out of putting detergent in the tank to rinse (just in case) but then noticed after prespray and agitation the carpets were almost clean and tried just bonneting aftert and that worked, so now mainly bonnet clean 90% of jobs. A lot quicker now, and no wick back, saves the pain factor at my age as well, so yes now I would promote LM cleaning, so give it a go Tony, you will be quietly pleased I would bet.

I used Dry Fusion for a couple of years working for one of the big companies.
It is amazing in my opinion. Near instant results even on dodgy leisure center carpets! And quick too.
Would definatley buy one if I had the chance, or the money. :(
As for the chems, 'activator' was amazing but the 'restore' soil breaker has such a seriously strong smell, use very diluted.
Easy to carry, less back ache.

They do another product called Pure Fusion that is half the price and does not have any perfume. I think it does a slightly better job as well. It's certainly more user friendly as far as the perfume is concerned.

People seem to love or hate the DF smells. I have a property manager who insists on them as "it makes the place smell as though it's been cleaned"
