dot mobi

had a call today from a company telling me i had to act quick to get the dot mobi url.

took it as a stupid sales call and told her she was wasting my time and dot co dot uk is fine thanks.

basicallly she said dot mobi is good for mobile viewing, is it or is it just a sales con?

http://www.namecheap.com/ << buy it and find out. Its only $7,99 a year and affordablecleaners.mobi is availble. But i dont think i'll make a difference to mobile browsing.

not a difference. how will your site be any easier to view on a mobile? it'd be the same files used. go to my site but change to .com, or .net, or .org they are all identical. .org isn't easier to view if you're in an organisation :s
