hi dave im in salford and its blowing a gale!!i would of been out in this on my ladders in my twenties but im older and wiser these days!im mainly wfp but even waving a pole about in this is dangerous plus it might affect the finish.

i have a few up and over the garage roof jobbies due but no chance in this!! ::)

better day forecast tommorrow!! ;) :) :)

I did a full day today. It was so windy, the glass dried in no time at all. Hopefully the finish will be OK. Last time I worked in high wind it left quite a lot of spotting, but no complaints so I thought I would go for it again.

:)

was hoping you'd say it was too bad, i got stuck in mental traffic this morning after leaving at 7.30 still wsnt at work by 9.30 so turned round as the weather looked poop too, and went canvassing instead

So i was hoping everyone would say i was useless etc so i didnt feel bad :)

Still i will catch up its only one day, and on the bright side quoted 2 small commercials and got some more leads to work at over this week so not a bad day.

BUt it was windy near me, and a lorry got blown over on m60, barton bridge

I decided not go after seeing my bbq and garden table disappearing down bottom of my garden.
So instead of sitting around all day I took some rubbish to the tip then went to the Shopping mall for some exercise. But ended up buying 3 blinds and a new ironing board from Argos.

i wasnt going to bother but then saw another windie up a ladder so i  gave it a go and it was hairy ,laying close to the glass when the gusts came . also  put up a few prices,   and  only one oldie growled about it but his wife drowned him out !

got a full day in,was bit scary when wind was trying its best throw me off the ladder, worst bit is you dare not leave your ladder upright and walk to a ground floor window
