just get a new or reconditioned starter motor fitted!!you dont have to buy another van!!unless you ve had enough of the connect?

if your scrap yards are as CRAP as the ones up hear then you'll struggle getting 2nd hand one. For Transit van i paid £90 brand new for one, and got £15 back when i took my old one back in

fixed it diddnt mess about took starter off phoned around 2nd hand between 30 and 50 no garantee so bought a new one £100 sod it all up and running

get stuck into em, even buy a haynes manual, you'll find you can do minor (& probably some major) repairs yourself if you got a good set of spanners & sockets

changed starter motor on 05 scudo today....a few grazed knuckles and
a bit o swearing
but not too bad ...bout 2 hours in total
