finally got round to the last of my workload today from before xmas!!

ive got a days work i could do tommorrow but gonna leave it until monday!!3 days off to relax before the next onslaught!!ive worked most days including saturdays over the last month so time to chill for a bit.

anyone else caught up yet?

Same as you Daz...although I had  "Basil Fawlty" day today , hose tangling on EVERYTHING, dropped pole and broke superlight brush fitting, trod in dog poope ... So having tomorrow off and gonna have a play with my new Aquadapter (if it comes)

When i started back on jan4 i was really depressed.I find the work very hard, it was freezing cold and can't get anyone to help me.New customers are always ringing and it just feels like a tread mill.I wish i could be like you guys and be more cheerfull.

The physical side is harder than i like, and sorting the work out is stressfull.I know it's the same for all of us but this job can be a slog.

Finally caught up on Monday and managed to reorganise the rounds so i should have some more gaps to fit in new custys, well thats the plan!

busy cleaning work which was last done in October at the moment,way behind

i can honestly say i had my best january ever! ;Dthe weather stayed reasonably fine for working.no freezing weather!and now all caught up!!

i love my job and dont take it for granted.their is a lot of people who would love to be in our position!regular income,flexi time,no boss breathing down our necks etc.

sheesus slumps!!have you been working 6 days a week for the last month and you still £2,300 BEHIND?

i wasnt depressed at the start of january after all the snow and xmas break actually i was raring to go!took a few days to get stuck in then ive been flying for the last few weeks and a lot of customers have payed promptly with minimum debt and collecting to do.

wfp has certainly made a big difference to my working life thats for sure!!

i find that window cleaning is one of the least stressful jobs!if you want a day off!!just do it!! ;Dif you want to start late/finish early.DO IT!


sounds like you need to sell a bit of your work on slumpy or go down the route of employing.


what do you want out of your business and life?

i dont mind working hard in all weathers, ive been doing it all my life but also its important for me to be able to chill out and have some time off from window cleaning.

really easy for me to catch up .... i just redate everything in George so no problem at all  .... but seriously i caught up end of last week but due to being so far behind ive reorganised my round so less double journeys a few days apart so now got gaps which im slowly filling with new work ... the dec / jan bad weather had a silver lining after all but would have preferred the income though  :

I would of been caught up by Monday, But had a day off today cos i am bone idle  I will be caught up by Wednesday next week I should think, and then I should easily finish next weeks work by Friday. Then if i do i have nothing for week after so will canvass. Will see if I get done next week first though!

We're running about 12 days late. Catch up about 2/3 days a month. hope to be back on time come May/June. But this bstd wind hasn't helped today

I will be ack on schedule midweek, weather permitting.

I only work in drizzle.
worked quite a few saturdays lately.

Finished earlier this friday and not worked saturday, do have cold that won't shift, so trying not to feel too guilty.
