Hmm :-\  We use Cleantech basic aluminium poles, converted for WFP.  Great, cheap pole but the clamp inserts don't last very long.  Been buying replacements for some years now, but if I can't get them anymore the poles will soon be redundant.

Anyone know if there's an alternative supplier?

Ian, the Cleantech basic pole was made by Unger, give them a phone to see where you can buy the inserts.

Along with a few other innovations Gardiners R&D are rumoured to be readying  a new pump board. My spies tell me they'll be easy to detach in cold weather, you can knock a system up in a few minutes with them, and could be the new industry standard.

Cleantech have been doing them for years! I've had a quick detach pump box for 7 years Slumpy! Am I really 7 years in front here? :o ;D

All my systems for the last 10 years have come in a pump box so that you have the choice of taking it indoors when needed.  It is maybe a Scottish thing with the colder weather.

You'll be able to decide for yourself. The suppliers are always going one better, and then one better again. It keeps things fresh and interesting.Even seasoned seven years in front guys like yourself winp can sometimes be pleasantly surprised.Assuming it has a kicker (a big improved feature) what would you think that could be?

They are still trading under Companies House.

They are not in Administration or Liquidation.

Thanks Peter ;)

Spoke to Unger who directed me to www.windowcleaningstuff.com  spoke to Tony who says they have taken over Cleantech's database so if you are a registered Cleantech customer they already have your details :)

They don't have access to your order history, or anything else.

They do have my pole inserts :)

Cheers,

Ian

Update to the above:

Had a receipt for my e-mail, just to confirm it had been displayed on Window Cleaning Stuff's computer.  Since then, nothing.

Just tried phoning them, phone's unobtainable :o

Is there some sort of virus sweeping through the suppliers and knocking them out one by one??
