Well chuffed customer
« on: February 02, 2011, 02:31:35 pm »
Went to a regular customers yesterday, who always
has the lounge cleaned. She'd booked stairs and landing only
as husband dropped a jar of Beetroot on the dining area in the
lounge, 80/20 biscuit coloured.

They'd already booked for a new carpet £800.

As there was nothing to lose i had a go at the stain, i was going
to take some photo's but couldn't be bothered as i didn't expect
a good enough result to show up in photo's.

Using Craftex shift which is Sod' Met based, initial results were
pretty spectacular. That's when i thought you Tw@t why didn't
you take the photo's.

Upshot is, she just rang, new carpet cancelled, lounge booked
in, all signs of stain gone.

Now only problem is i never took the bl00dy photo's.  :'(

Been there-got the T  shirt.

It's even better when you can manage to remove the stain in front of the client's eyes.

As you say-nothing to lose on a job like that.

Bet you're feeling pleased.

Well done AJB

Why not take a camera and a jar of beetroot when you go back to do the lounge?

i've had a few referalls from her already, her sister was there
at the time as well.

Over all the years this was the first Beetroot stain i'd ever
tackled, and everthing i've ever heard had always implied
it was impossible. It was about the size of a dustbin lid.
That is why i'm upset i never took the photo's, as it would
have been a very dramatic picture.

Which do you think is harder to remove? Beetroot or black currant juice?

I'd put my money on black currant being harder.
