new window cleaner
« on: February 04, 2011, 06:48:53 pm »
Recently made redundant from a factory thinking of window cleaning and came across this website and got some useful tips. went out knocking on doors and dropping leaflets gained about 50 customers in 2 weeks mainly from knocking is this a good start.
obviously need more, can you make a good living , what about the bad weather days as of now.
still applying for jobs but no luck .

50 customers in two weeks is an excellent start.Took me a damn site longer than that to get that many. Not being funny but have you actually learned how to clean windows to an acceptable standard? If not I wouldn't get too many more customers before you've at least learned the basics as you may end up biting more than you can chew.In terms of making a living,of course you can if you're willing to put the hours in on the leafletting/door knocking etc and it sounds like you are.Weather wise, personally I don't work in anything stronger than drizzle but some people do.At the moment all you can do is get cleaning to get your speed up and if you gain customers at the same rate as your first two weeks you'll have a good round in no time.
