ESTATE Vs VAN
« on: January 27, 2011, 10:32:19 am »
I'm an estate user and always will be. Vans are ok. But my pref is just for an estate. It's well signed up with magnetic signs on the 2 sides and a rear window sticker which is removeable. And its just a bit more comfortable.

how is an estate car more comfortable? i had a astravan before and its the same as a estate car with more room in the back.

if using an estate car works for you then good but i'd never use one for work,

I wouldn't be able to fit all my kit in an estate car, so its van all the way for me.

For tradding an estate car is great, you dint need a van, I used a mondeo estate for 7 years, but for wfp you really have to use a van, unless you don't mind converting a car to a 2 seater and having the rear taken up by a tank or lots of 25l cans

i think a vw sharan or seat alahambra, fors galaxy and any of that size would be quite good for wfp.i think someone on the forum uses one with 400l tank.

i loved using a car but now in a van  theres the advantage of far firmer seats so you get in and out quicker+ the big door mirrors
