You could either try ebay or maybe there is one on the corner of a street with for sale on it like there are round here from time to time or if you could lease a van etc. ;D

700 quid would get an exellent escort van. mine cost less than that and i`ve racked up 309,000 miles on the same engine. rebuilt gearbox at 280,000 though.
For very little money thay keep going, just watch out for rust

I paid £700 for my escort van with 9mths test and 3mths tax, bodywork is excellent condition.Thats on a 99V plate off ebay.
Also what type of Wc are you as my escort is proper gutless so i wouldnt recomment using one for WFP unless you stick an Rs cosworth engine in it lol

I went to van auctions the November before last, 58 plate Kangoos were going for around £800 mark if i remember rightly, and berlingo's were slightly more. I wish i could of got away with a smaller van, I would of bit their hands off!!
Have a look at your local auction, check prices out first visit, then go again another day with a set price in mind.

Were you on meds that day??

£800 for a 58 reg van??

You'd struggle to buy a leggy 02 for that money

a lot of vans are clocked .its worth making a note of the certificate number on the top of the MOT certificate before you part with the cash and then go online to the government mot check website and you can look at all its previous mots and its mileages and what it failed on each test  etc

they are gutless but mine is no slower with 300ltr in the back and a trailer, they just plod on slowly. Another plus with the escort theirs no complicted electrics so nothing to go wrong. they never break machanically, you just best off being handy with a welder at mot times
