BT Customerstreet
« on: January 11, 2011, 12:44:02 pm »
Just had my ear bent from these people. They set up a website and direct loads of traffic your way, generating loads of new business. Sounded very good, and backed by BT must be ok. While she was on googled bt customerstreet, and alarms started going off. Read they are nothing to do with BT. Any one had dealings with this company.

Yet another dodgy service by the sound of it. Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to slam the phone down should they contact me.

Just out of interest, has anyone on here had dealings with local link up?

they're aweful. the website they set up is imo terrible, for instance look at the competition you'll be with, they all have the EXACT same site with the only difference is the number to ring. not great for when customer is shoping around. also the link they send to your site is nofollow which means they give you a site that you have no links pointing to so no one will find any way unless they go through their site. also you're then in the trouble of the only way that site you've had for a year is of any use after the year is to continue advertising with them. def not worth the money we paid.

Do not have anything to do with them and remember there is no 7 day cooling of period with them if you agree over the phone( business to business )

Has anyone been called by the National Business Centre?

Had loads of calls which Ive ignored.Anyway a few weeks ago I told one of their operatives to go forth and multiply after constant pestering.

He made several threats to me telling me had all my details.

Who are these people?Ive googled it and an address comes up with a number that is obsolete

Their name is misleading, nothing to do with british telecom.

When you submit your details to these online directories you get bombarded with sales calls!
