New wand - spot on !
« on: January 07, 2011, 09:33:45 pm »
After taking onboard recommendations from others on the forums I splashed out £300 for a westpac 4 jet wand 1.75 '' and £100 for a greenie slotted glide.
I found that the 2 jet wand that came wth the airflex turbo wasnt to my liking , jets too high , same as cleaning head so didnt flush well.
The difference with the 4 jet is impressive especially when using 2 '' hose.
So if you've gone to the trouble of getting a 3 vac machne , dont let the wand let the side down , geta westpac 4jt and glide.

After borrowing Stu Clarks Westpak I just had to upgrade it was such a vast improvement over my 2 jet and truly unleashed me Prowler!!  tho the Westapk a little long if I were to fault it (even at 6ft tall).   So now got a 4 jet (with non drip extenders),  14" head, full 2" bore Titanium tubed wand on its way over the pond - just over £330 - (including glide and bypass!!)  if the yank aint pullin me chain.... ::)

hi Stu did you order it direct if so which supplier?

How about the import tax and delivery etc. what approx did that cost?

You really got me thinking now I was wondering about going from 1.5" vac hose to 2" vac hose and now I'm thinking about going for a new wand also, maybe a 2" wand 4 jet?????
Can you give some info on the supplier please?
One last thing how about spares for the wand if you have any problems? I know its on valves but have you considered this or is there a UK supplier who can help you with this?

Just had a look at that site Mark. The High Shear Jet Kits look interesting. Has anyone tried these yet?

Yes have a high shear kit on my Carbon Fibre Bentley wand works extremely well and you can adjust the jet angle depending on carpet. Joe customises his wands from the standard very innovative man.

What's the tax and postage on things.
Could do with a new Drimaster tool and they work out at
£268.
£480 over here inc THE DREADED.
