Where to buy fairleads?
« on: December 28, 2010, 11:30:02 pm »
I'm looking for fairleads like Gardiners sell here:
http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/Hose_Reel_Accessories.html

The postage to Ireland means that I'd be paying near £80 for 2 of them from Gardiners,.. so I was wondering who else sells them?

When I was looking gardiners were the cheapest. Unless delivery from a different company is cheaper I don't think you will find them cheaper. How much are they charging for delivery?

I've got a brand new one sat in my garage I'll probably never use if you want it. Bought it from Gardiners a few weeks ago but can't bring myself to hack through the van floor. If I was bright I would go through the number plate area and put the plate on a hinge. Trouble is, it's fine in my head but would be a mess if I tried to do it.

I'm after 2,.. I reckon one on each rear corner of the van will cover me for nearly every working angle.

Alex just e-mailed me & said they can send royal mail (Its normally courier to Ireland) which saves a huge amount. It just bugs me paying more for postage than for the item itself!!

Side of the van I reckon,.. through the floor would be awkward with the spare wheel & suspension bits in the way.
