« on: December 27, 2010, 11:48:57 am »
I have 30,000 leaflets beeing printed to deliver A5 Gloss coulour both sides very cheap from ebay.

I was going to just do a few hours everyday putting them through letterboxes myself is this the best way ?

If I send them out with the local papers will they just get dumped in woods ?

Hi leroy, the best way to get a good customer base mate is face to face canvassing after your leaflet drop, dont drop them all together say 5000 a time and hit the dropped area for a month thereafter,if you just leaflet drop your return/call back on 5000 will be somewhere between 0 to 10 (if your lucky!!)if your happy with that then fair enough, and ive found after the best way is leaflet drop is then call ,returns that way are somewhere around 20 to 30 ish thats for evening canvassing for a month 3/5 evenings a week.
good luck.
Andy ;) ;) ;)

If you have time on your hands - then drop yourself,  but you can usually get a company to do large drops
for around £25 per 1000

but door knocking is best

its okay to leaflet yourself if you have no work, otherwise its hard on the feet

i paid a big woman to do mine, then once she moved,i found 2 girls. if you pay ,one tip is to only let them do 2 hours max each time ,so they arent slowed up and then lose enthusiasm. also be sure to tell them a price for when they get asked.i picked an average price to say every time (later can backpeddle if the house is big )

i paid them a tenner per hour at end of each day .also gave them a local streetmap and marker pen to colour in the streets as they go
one thing for sure ,the risk of a dog bite when leafleting is high,a gamble

Yes, they will. We paid a fortune about four years back to have a load of leaflets delivered in the local paper for a different business. Got virtually nothing from it. Whole areas got no calls at all- ever.

It should have kick started the new business nicely but instead it killed it stone dead because we lost confidence. Deliver your own leaflets, at least that way you know they are going through letterboxes.
