will only take the chill form it mate. I use one for in my tank to stop it freezing. Problem is when i wa sout today my pump, pole hose and hose reel all froze.

I have an inverter on my boat and just watching the tv from a sat receiver
completely flattens a 60amp battery in about 4 hours so a 300watt heater wouldn't last that long.

200w is good for trolley, keep drums indoors overnight then heater just keeps them just right.

have you made a hot water trolley?

I know you have freedom trolley and you have made your own mods to it (remote shut off).

I to have freedom trolley and would be intrested in keeping water warm. (seen immersion heater threads)

just playing about i need to try lower heaters like 100 or 50 to see if it still keeps the edge on it, as there is a drain on the battery with higher watts, it will only suit trolley not vans as i can warm the drums up indoors the heater is to just keep the edge off it while im working, ive replaced the pump to the outside so another battery can fit where the pump was, i using a 350watt inverter, but weather is warming up here so no need for it at mo, but still lots to play about with over xmas

I got a 1000w inverter and 2 100w aqua heaters, run of a 110amp lesure battery, realistically it cost me loads and they are just toys - you have to leave the engine running or they will knacker the plates.
Still using the heat in your front room idea.

yep leaving the drums indoors is a good bet, cheap option to as Jeff said all these toys we play about with ain't cheap when you got a shed full of them. but it wouldn't be much fun without tinkering about.

Stuck a 300 watt aquarium heater in a 220L water butt wrap with immersion heater jacket £5 from wicks to try hold the heat in over night then transfer into 25L containers takes the edge off and keeps the hoses supple.stays warm for about 4 hours better than using ice cold water

One of the advantages of hot warm from your front room is that generally the water should be below 19 degrees-       so no Legionella probs. The water is just warm enough to work with at -4 ish . Simples. Keep your hot water below 19 degrees
