One-Off Cleans
« on: November 23, 2010, 09:58:02 pm »
What are peoples views on one-off cleans? Do you charge a little extra if the customers dont want a regular arrangement? I've heard some window cleaners refuse to do one-off cleans.

2 or 3 times the cost of a regular clean should do.

Love 'em! People often struggle to find a wc prepared to do the job which means you can get very good money sometimes.

Hello Ryan,

I do one off cleans starting from £150.00 for bungalows and moving up to around £240.00 upwards for houses and so on.

Also before anyone says you can't charge this sort of rate.... Yes you can.

regards.

Sounds like The window cleaner coach from a few years ago that was saying the same prices.

Maybe someone will pay that, But the chances of getting alot of the work you go for imo is zero.

I must admit I do avoid them but I suppose doing them when I'm slack should be the plan and 2 to 3 times the normal price is about right.

Mr.Bungalow are seriously thinking that anyone would believe that? add that to your last post about minuscule amounts of alchol in water to stop it freezing and you are starting to sound 'un-hinged'.

We charge double now, but only do them if we have time. Used to charge a few quid extra, but if they will pay double, take it.

Ewan charges 35 quid to scrape egg off a window, so work it out yourself...........  ;)

Hey Mr Bungalow,

£150 plus for a one off clean? People actuely accept that?? Is that for inside and out? How much do you charge for a regular arrangement??

If you have loads of work quote mega high , if you have Friday free and you think golf is boring (I do) quote a reasonable price to get the job, unless you don;t need the money.
