I`m Thinking of renting a round
« on: November 23, 2010, 11:03:48 pm »
Hi I want to go full time on the windows asap and was thinking of renting work if I can find it. Not sure how this works. How much it cost. how long for, that sort of thing. Any help would be good.

I guess you mean you'd do the work for someone else who owns it.

I did this when making the transition from p/t to full time and I got 85% of the turnover and the "owner" paid me at the end of each week (2 days a week actually) and collected the money himself.

Late and non-payers were his problem but on the understanding that if it was down to a legit complaint about my work then I might have to go back and sort - but that never happened.
It's a game of three halves!

i think If you do everything 10-15% is a good cut for the owner

for example £1000 worth of good paying customers you clean it and each month you pay him £150.00 collecting your responsibility along with everything els.

how it worked for a friend of mine was like that, also the agreement they had was any work lost that meant cancellation of any means his bad work or just cos they dont like him ment he would need to pay the round lord 3x clean so if a £10 house cancels he would pay him £30 extra but it worked the same the other way too say he picked up £50 he would not need to pay him any rent cos it was £50x3 made the rent that month.
