II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
General cleaning service for Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) properties
portfolio located throughout the districts of Lincolnshire. Available for
use by all Lincolnshire County, district, borough and city councils,
educational establishments and fire and rescue services. The contract will
be a split start with LCC utilising the contract effectively from
1.4.2011. It is anticipated that the annual spend for the LCC element
starting 1.4.2011 will be in the region of 700 000 GBP per annum with 50 %
of their properties being in Lincoln the other 50 % spread throughout the
county. Additional properties will be added from 1.4.2012. It is
anticipated that the additional annual spend for this element will be in
the region of 400 000 GBP. Additional parties having access to this
contract may join at the end of their existing arrangements. This contract
will be for an initial period of 2 years with an option to extend for
further periods up to a maximum of 2 years (31.3.2015) subject to mutual
consent between the parties.
