just got a new membrane off brodex took 1 day to get here big thanks to them
anyhow am i right in thinking to change them you just need to take off all the water pipes
to depressureize the thingimajigg and it will be safe to work on?
just mentiond brodex name and how fast it came cos evryone slaggs them off on here ;)

Unless you've got a float valve to stop the pure water your system will be 'unpressurised' as soon as you switch it off, however you do that.  After that the only pipes you need to take off are the membrane inlet (bottom) and the pure and waste outlets (top).  After that you only need to take out the top 'plug' from the housing and you can pull the old membrane out - with a molegrip if necessary - you won't do any damage as the membrane is kaput anyway.  The new membrane goes in exactly as the old one came out - be careful as they only fit one way round.

1 of your vans cut me right up ian last week by the m2 junction 3 he did hazard to say sorry though so fair do's. a ford connect think 53 plate if im right had le in the name. nice sign writing on your vans. looks good.

thanks ian looked on you tube and theres a vid telling how
so ime all set; wanted to know as i thought it could go wrong like  with a high presure
it could end in tears if you dont know whats what

Why don't you contact Brodex for the instructions for the kit they sell? I'm sure they'll have your answer by tomorrow morning.
