xmas week payments
« on: November 02, 2010, 04:41:22 pm »
As xmas day falls nicely as a saturday this year - just wondering who is planning to work right up to the friday xmas eve ? and if so if the customer is not in will you go back and collect later that day or just invoice with your terms same as usual.

Personally thinking of working up to the 22nd or 23rd, and plan to collect all payments for xmas week by the 23rd. Don't really wanna get in way of familly xmas stuff on xmas eve.

Do you think its better to collect in late December as i'm thinking even worse to get paid early January when people are very skint.

Collect on the 25th, most people. Should be in that day.
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.

I`ll work `til dinner Christmas Day, it`s great.
Plenty of drinks and seeing some kids with their presents; my customers love me calling. I dress up too, like The Child Catcher or a clown.
The time flies by too but that`s probably cos I`m half cut.
He he, I was once paid by a customer on Boxing Day; but I had fallen asleep outside her front door.
I even made a few bob by cleaning my vomit off her door....or was it urine. Who cares.
Holidays are coming......

I will be finishing very early on the 17th the reason been is that I have been summoned to court for jury service and that starts on the 20th :(.

As i normal work until the 23rd and back to work on the 27th until the 31st and then back to work by the 3rd of Jan.
