Vikan flagged brush
« on: October 20, 2010, 08:23:32 pm »
Hi

Anyone use the Vikan 11" oval flagged brush (red bristle version - looks same as mono)

Apart from the obvious heavier weight, what are they like compared to Gardiners supalite flocked brush which i currently use ??

Nothing wrong with the brush...infact it's good but the stock is so heavy...if you can shave it down then it's a great brush.

My brother in law is a carpenter and he used one of his machines to shave 135grms off!

The pen is mightier than the sword (and a lot easier to write with!)
