van in garage & frost
« on: October 20, 2010, 07:49:32 pm »
I was wondering if it was worth parking the van in the garage at night to stop the frost.
Does anyone do this?
What I would like to know is, does it work? The garage I have is in a block and i wonder if it would prevent all the hoses etc from frosting up.

No-can-do, I havent got power in the garage and its not worth paying out for propane etc.

Move the family in to the garage and bring the van inside the house.

The van stays warm and you get a nice, quiet evening; perfect :)

A lagging jacket more like it. Don't forget the water meter too. I had to replace that and all last Jan. 1 degree last night.
