Thats the problem with employing people. They start getting ideas of their own :o.

Thats not a problem, its entrepreneurship.

I reckon if he was treated better and paid better he would of though twice about taking it alone, its not easy working for yourself lots of variables and much more hard work than it seems, if you are no good at debt chasing etc you could lose your home to bad cashflow and your business, but if you are hard working and persistent then you can improve your lifestyle immeasurably so its all about what you want

but it just shows that if you think you can give staff £50 a day and get rich of it you will have problems

You mean a state of mind. Some people are happy to just have a 9 to 5 job. Depending on the job, and if they feel valued. Being felt valued is a big plus.

a lot dont want the hassle of being self employed,  getting custy chasing debt,  how many times have people come on here  then leave after a few week becasue they cant do the job,  or cant knock,  or hate being owed money  come tax time havent kept money,   sometimes picking up a wage at the end of the week   with no hassle can be great

I know am gonna sound like a weirdo but i do alot of life reading and how to be successfull ive learnt their are 3 different types of ppl their are ppl who are in the box, their are ppl who are in the box but want out, and ppl who are out the box. The ppl in the box basically follow the majority and work 9 till 5 with no pressure and want the same boring wage every week and live ok.. then their are ppl who do this but want more out of life but cant cos in the end they are still in the box.. then you get ppl like lord alan sugar and so on who were out the box all along and want money want success and want to make something of them self i personally im out the box and want all of this... i hope use have all learnt something from this lol....

£50 aday. for a 7.5 hour day, is around £6.66, for a unskilled job. Labourers on building sites, don't get much more than this.
Then he may get paid still, for the few hours it rains etc.

1000's do work for that kind of money. Factory, care workers, etc. Its no joke. Specially the way the job market is now.
