If they take customers off you this way then they were not really your customers anyway, They are drifters and you can not build a good reliable business on them.

My customers are loyal and will stick with you through thick and thin and will not change to anther cleaner to save a £ or 2.

With you they know you are reliable, do a good job, do not rob the place and leave closing the gates behind you.

am going on my hols at the end of the months so will be having a cull of custys then,  some i just dump and so are on my knock list if i can be bothered,  if a custys says not this month twice on the run, they are dropped,

Because in any democratic society we all have the right to  be assumed not guilty and to be free of harrassement. This is a democratic society, not a police state. And who says they are in the wrong? They havent broken any laws. They are not in the wrong.

Next time one of your custards tells you someone else has been canvassing your work phone the police, make a complaint and insist on an arrest. See what sort of response you get. And post it on here. Id be fascinated.

Ive lost count of the number of times Ive read on internet forums the hatred people have of the police for unnecessary and unasked for interventiion by them. Cant have it both ways. Either they get to stop people with no reason or evidence to justify and we get to moan or they dont and we have our freedom. Which one you want?

By the way I seriously think the police do a great job in general, but there is the odd bad apple; just as in any set of individuals.

Stopping some guys because you feel your window cleaning business is likely to loose a few custards just isnt enough and wouldnt stand up in court. Nor is some fat geezer saying 'they looked dodgy' good enough either.

Nothing from the police side yet, but these clowns have cleaned a property that we clean saying they've taken over my round and charged an oap 3 cleans saying that the books say that's what she owes. She's reluctantly paid.

She's called me today and I've been to visit her and they've been stupid enough to give her a 50 for £3 type of business card with their details on.

I've passed the info on and we are going to come down on them like a sack of spuds attached to a tank.
