What's your idea of the nightmare customer? Most of mine are quite well trained but talking to a fellow shiner recently and he seems to have picked up quite a few recently.

Whats your top 3?

Like many, i was desperate to get going at first .this was a double bay, leaded     ." how about £10 ?-   Forget it son      £9 -no        £8-no   £7-no   £sixxxx ?     okay,go ahead / then starts messing me about . but it gave me a toehold into that street and i clean a lot and smile as i cruise past without stopping at the MELDREWS at n0.19

another dropped cust -  "i must say ,its really bad that i can never find any money to pay you,id never put up with that at my job , God no "

Lost one monday but he was a messer i took back on my mistake!

Years ago when i inherited the round he had a big house at least £10 job but it was 5.50 being new to the game i did it for a year   or so but in this time he began to just have the front done which was al lead and hard work and charged 3.50 - 4 obviously not alot, so got chuffed off then he wanted me too "look in the gutters and just clear em" said no i dont think so i will price it and then do it he wasnt happy so he was dumped, anyway about 6 months ago he asked me too clean windows again i said ok but every 3 weeks, whole house is £8 - i knew he would moan anymore, and he is sandwiched between 2 other easy houses happy days

after 2 cleans it was, just the back today etc

anyway i wanted to dump again but he did it for me, on monday he comes out while im next door and says "dont do ours today "

me - okay no problem, just today or ever??
him - well not for now as i have bought a brush
me - a brush ? o ok
him - well yeah , my daughters windows cleaner does her 4 bed detatched for £6.50
me - laughing in his face , o right ok , he wont last long, thats half what id charge at least
him - well he has been in business for years . and i know you charge alot and we are pensioners and must be careful with money bla bla bla
me - o well nevermind, if you are struggling to afford your windows cleaned dont worry about it
he walks off

funny thing is this guy drives a nice car lives in a very nice area in what must be 300 k plus house
strange
i was drastically under charging and am glad to be rid of a persistnet pita

most of my other custies are great , granted a lot could now do with a decent price rise and im doing this in next 4 weeks but otherwise they are great, ive got rid of alot of crap over the years and remianders are good

rant done

lady has asked me to do her windows i explain how i work and dont do one offs its a minimum of 3 cleans its part of my terms and conditions as stated on my web site we agree the price and as i walk away she wants to know how much notice i require to cancel ... alarm bells ring and i decide not to do them , she comes up last month saying she definatly want them doing every month she promises not to mess me about so this month i text her at 7.30pm to say im cominug tomorrow she replys at 00.01 wakes me up telling me i must be there at 10am i arrive a little after 10 and shes gone out .... cant wait till next month
